Palenque
Palenque is an ancient Maya city hidden in the green rainforest of southern Mexico. Its stone temples and palace rise up among tall jungle trees.
It is loved for its beautiful carvings and the way the jungle wraps around the ruins. Waterfalls and howler monkeys make it feel like a lost city from a storybook.
