Copper Canyon
Copper Canyon is a group of huge canyons in the mountains of northern Mexico. Together they are even bigger and deeper than the Grand Canyon.

The Raramuri people live in the canyons and are known as some of the best long-distance runners in the world. They can run for many hours over rocky trails.

High up the air is cool and fresh, and it can even snow in winter. Down in the deep valleys it stays much warmer.
