La Fortuna Waterfall
La Fortuna Waterfall is a powerful ribbon of white water that plunges about 70 meters down a green cliff near Arenal. Cool blue pools gather at the bottom, framed by ferns and tropical plants.
It is famous for its dramatic drop hidden deep in the rainforest, reached by a fun staircase through the trees. Visitors love cooling off in the refreshing pools after the walk down.
