Roman history
Long ago the Romans built this city and called it Caesaraugusta. You can still walk through the remains of their theater, baths, and forum buried under the modern town.

The river
The big Ebro River flows right through the city, and the grand Basilica del Pilar stands on its bank with towers that light up at night and reflect in the water.
