San Salvador is the capital and biggest city of El Salvador, and it is the busy heart of the whole country. This is where the government, big markets, and many famous buildings are found.
You can visit the shiny National Palace, ride up to the El Boqueron volcano crater, and taste warm pupusas at a street market.
