Punta Gorda, often called P.G., is the last town in the far south of Belize, facing the sea. It is quiet and green, surrounded by rainforest, cacao farms, and Maya villages.
You can watch chocolate being made from real cacao beans, explore the Maya ruins at Nim Li Punit, and meet local fishers by the dock.
