Managua

About 1 million people.

Managua

Managua is the capital and biggest city of Nicaragua, sitting on the shore of a large lake. It is the country's center for business, government, and culture.

You can stroll along the lakefront promenade, see the colorful Trees of Life sculptures lit up at night, visit the Old Cathedral, and explore the ancient footprints of Acahualinca left thousands of years ago.
