Havana

About 2 million people.

Havana

Havana is the capital and biggest city of Cuba, sitting right on the sea. It is famous for its colorful old buildings, classic cars, and lively music.

You can ride in a bright pink 1950s convertible, walk along the Malecon seawall, and explore the old stone fort that guards the harbor.

Old town

Old Havana is full of narrow streets, pretty squares, and pastel houses. Kids love watching street musicians and spotting old cars parked everywhere.

Sea and forts

The city sits by the ocean with big old forts built to guard it. At sunset a cannon is fired from the fortress, a tradition that is centuries old.
