El Progreso

El Progreso is a busy farming and trade town near the Ulua River in northern Honduras. It grew around banana and sugar plantations and is a friendly stop between bigger cities.
You can visit the town's church, explore lively markets full of fresh fruit, and take short trips to the wide river and green farmland around it.
