Bayamon is a big, lively city just next to San Juan and is one of the most crowded places on the island. People sometimes call it the City of Chicharron because of a famous fried snack.
You can ride the modern Tren Urbano train, visit the science park with dinosaurs and a planetarium, and enjoy busy parks and plazas full of music.
