Arequipa is Peru's second-largest city and is known as the White City because many of its buildings are made from a pale volcanic stone. Three tall volcanoes stand guard over the town.
Visit the beautiful white cathedral, wander a centuries-old convent painted in blue and orange, and gaze up at the snowy volcano called El Misti.
