The story
Called the 'Sun, Moon and Five Peaks', it always stood behind the Korean king's throne as a sign of his royal power.
The style
It is painted in bright, bold colors with a neat, balanced design, with the sun on one side and the moon on the other.
Look closer
Everything is perfectly symmetrical, like a mirror, which stood for a calm and well-ordered kingdom.
Where to see it
Fine examples are kept in the National Palace Museum of Korea in Seoul, once inside the royal palaces.

The screen was so tied to the king that it appeared wherever he sat, even on the money of modern Korea.
